I dunno wat exaclty is the concept of God in Hinduism today. The ones that both the Bible and Quran have called false gods are those objects with which some ascribe godly attributes whereas they are creation themselves. Like the Sun, the moon, the animals etc.

I truly respect all religions and am only elaborating it for knowledge sharign here... making idols of gods has been considered as offensive since nothing can dipict God; He is much greater.

For the layman, The supreme power, omnipresent, shapeless, invisible is called Ishwar. There are no idols, no images and no form of Ishwar. There are no temples dedicated to Him. Allah does not come into conflict with the concept of Ishwar in Hinduism and therefore Hindus have no problem with Allah as such.

Hindus believe that Ishwar designed that a Trinity be created. Bramha, Vishnu and Shiv came into existance. Bramha creates everything. He is worshipped as Vishwakarma or the maker of the world. Vishnu operates the world. Shiv destroyes the world. The trinity of Generator, Operator and Destroyer makes the acronym GOD and does not come into conflict with any faith.

Various gods and goddesses are the incarnations of Vishnu or Shiv and number approximately 30 crores. They take birth, carry out the task assigned to them and leave the earth. Due to their superiority as human beings or by divine design they rise above the normal human beings of their times and leave an undeliable stamp on the face of the earth. Their idols are made, painted, carved and they are worshipped. When invoked they perform miracles or bless people. They are called Bhagwan (God). Hindus have no problem if Prophet is respected or Jesus Christ is revered or Buddha is worshipped by their followers. They are Bhagwan for us.

We have absolutely no problems if any one professes, practises or preaches his or her religion. The problem arises only when the ideas of that particular faith is imposed through force or terror as the only, final and binding solution to all the problems of the earth.

Hinduism worships earth, sun, moon, planets, plants, trees, sky, rivers, etc. You name it, Hindus worship it in some form or the other; including human beings and animals too, to the point of irritation or stupidity. The vastness of Hinduism encompasses all. Its all inclusive. It does not differentiate. There are no separate prayer for priests and low castes. For prayer, you need not even know the prayers because God almighty understands all languages, all signs and can read and understand the spoken and the unspoken both. No drama, no ritual, nothing is required. You bow your head, heart or body or don’t do even that; even then, you can be in direct communication with Him. He does not bind you in any rule, ritual or form; because He is boundless himself.

Holy Kaaba had 360 images of Hindu gods and Goddesses. Islam destroyed them. They were not a threat to Islam. They were part of the Arab Culture. Bahiyam Statue of Afghanistan were stone carvings of Lord Budhdha; why taliban destroyed them? Why Hindu temples were razed, desecrated throughout Mughal invasion of India? Why were Hindu women raped? The answer lies in Holy Quran and in the life and deeds of the Prophet. Muslims do it in the name of Allah. They quote Holy Quran to justify their Jihad. You may quote some other Surah to justify your preaching of peace; they justify their actions by quoting the same holy book. Till Darul harab is converted into Darul Islam; the world is at war, jehad will continue and the teachings of the prophet during war will continue. These are not my statements or the statements of uneducated Muslims or half educated Mulla-Maulvis; these are the views of convent educated, english speaking, majority of terrorists who subscribe to the views of the likes of Osama Bin Laden. You may say they are not true Muslims oir find some other explanations but the fact of the matter is that They are Muslims; true or false; and they are terrorists. That LTTE and some other engaging in terrorism are non muslims does not in any manner justify the terrorist activities of the followers of Islam.

Bible was originally revealed by God himself; these ple changed the scrtipture for their own causes. What shocks and tempts most of the chirstains towards the Quran is that it has ”no version, no writter”. its the original text and the same ever since...

The Old Testament is the more traditional view, meaning first-hand. The New Testament is comprised mostly of the Gospels, Epistles, Letters, Proverbs, etc.) which serve to be explanations to the followers. To put it more operationally, these are the guides and practical interpretations for daily lives.

Holy Quran in its original version had 3 more verses which were subsequently deleted because they negated the Islamic concept of Allah and gave sanctity to idol worshippers too. Of course, they were deleted from the original due to pressure, afterthought, wisdom or for some other reason is any one’s guess. Those verses are said to be due to Satan overtaking the sense of the Prophet at that time. They are famous as The Satanic Verses. The author of the book with the same name was hounded and fatwas were issued to kill him. the name of the author is Salman Rushdie.

Which wife would have dared to say anything else and survived in those days in that tribal society in distant Arabia ?
